OBJECT : The purpose of this petition is to strengthen consumer rights in Luxembourg by introducing into the Consumer Code a strict principle of contractual and financial reciprocity vis-à-vis businesses and professionals (specifically across the banking, insurance, telecommunications, energy, and e-commerce sectors). The objective is to grant users and consumers the legal authority to charge standard administrative/handling fees or obtain automatic, regulated compensation when a persistent technical malfunction, digital interface outage, or processing failure attributable to the service provider forces the user to perform time-consuming manual procedures to fulfill contractual obligations or assert their rights. The petition also calls for the mandatory, automatic waiver of all ancillary fees, reminder costs, or penalties claimed by a provider whenever a delay or complication stems from an outage or bug in its own digital systems.

OBJECT : Cette initiative vise à renforcer la démocratie participative en permettant aux citoyens de s'exprimer régulièrement sur les questions d'intérêt public, et non uniquement lors des élections. Proposition Nous proposons que : - chaque citoyen ayant le droit de vote soit tenu de participer à un vote hebdomadaire sur les pétitions publiques éligibles ; - les votes puissent être exprimés par voie électronique, tout en garantissant des solutions accessibles aux personnes ne disposant pas d'un accès à Internet ; - chaque citoyen puisse voter « Pour », « Contre » ou « Abstention » pour chaque pétition ; - les résultats soient publiés de manière transparente et servent à déterminer les suites à donner aux pétitions, conformément aux dispositions légales ; - des exceptions soient prévues pour les personnes empêchées de participer pour des raisons légitimes.

OBJECT : Zurzeit nimmt das Abgeordnetenmandat 20 Wochenstunden politischen Urlaub in Anspruch. So mancher Bürgermeister/in hat bereits 40 Wochenstunden politischen Urlaub in seiner Gemeinde. Dies ergibt dann 60 Wochenstunden. In Luxemburg liegt die Wochenarbeitszeit auf 40 Stunden. Ziel der Petition ist es die politische Arbeit auf 40 Wochenstunden zu begrenzen. So darf ein Bürgermeister/in, welche/r bereits in seiner Gemeinde laut Gesetz 40. Wochenstunden politischen Urlaub von gesetzeswegen zusteht, keine weiteren Aktivitäten annehmen. Dies ermöglicht dann auch politische Arbeit auf mehr Menschen zu verteilen.
