OBJECT : The purpose of this petition is to reform the Luxembourgish legislation on weapons in order to allow adult citizens with clean criminal records to possess and carry non-lethal means of self-defense, specifically certified pepper spray and alarm weapons (blank and gas firing weapons). This reform proposes to draw inspiration from the proven legal model of the Federal Republic of Germany, notably through the creation of an equivalent to the "restricted firearms certificate" (Kleiner Waffenschein), thereby guaranteeing regulated, controlled, and secure access to personal protection tools in public spaces.

OBJECT : Cette pétition a pour objectif de demander aux autorités luxembourgeoises de renforcer les contrôles et les mesures destinés à réduire les nuisances sonores, les émissions de poussières, les odeurs et les autres impacts environnementaux liés aux activités de sites industriels situés dans ou à proximité de la commune de Sanem. Elle vise à garantir aux habitants des communes concernées le droit à un environnement sain, une meilleure qualité de vie, une plus grande transparence des contrôles et la mise en œuvre de solutions concrètes lorsque des dépassements ou des nuisances sont constatés.

OBJECT : The petitioners ask the Government and the Chamber of Deputies to introduce a moratorium, meaning a temporary ban, on the sale, promotion and use in places open to the public in Luxembourg of consumer smart glasses fitted with a camera or AI-based visual analysis. The moratorium would stay in place until a legal framework is adopted that effectively protects people who are filmed, recorded or analysed without their knowledge. Assistive technology used by blind, partially sighted or disabled people, and specialist professional equipment used for a defined purpose, would be excluded from the moratorium, including their use. The petitioners also ask the Government to press, at European Union level, for common rules that protect people from these devices.
