For a Mandatory Education Program on Respect, Consent, and Equality in All Schools in Luxembourg

Public petition

4141

Submission date 11/06/2026

OBJECT : In 2024, the Luxembourg police responded to 1,178 domestic violence incidents-nearly 100 per month, and the number is rising. In the most serious cases, 81% of the victims are women. We do a lot after the fact, but almost nothing beforehand. This petition calls for a mandatory school curriculum, starting in elementary school, on respect, equality, and consent-to tackle the root of the problem.
