Petitions to the Chamber of Deputies

OBJECT : This petition calls upon the Government and the Chamber of Deputies: to raise the tax-deductible ceiling applicable to employees' personal contributions to supplementary occupational pension schemes from EUR1,200 to at least EUR4,500 per year; and to provide for the periodic adjustment of this ceiling so that its real value is not progressively eroded by inflation. This increase would align the second-pillar ceiling with the EUR4,500 ceiling now applicable to individual third-pillar retirement savings plans.

OBJECT : The purpose of this petition is to reform the Luxembourgish legislation on weapons in order to allow adult citizens with clean criminal records to possess and carry non-lethal means of self-defense, specifically certified pepper spray and alarm weapons (blank and gas firing weapons). This reform proposes to draw inspiration from the proven legal model of the Federal Republic of Germany, notably through the creation of an equivalent to the "restricted firearms certificate" (Kleiner Waffenschein), thereby guaranteeing regulated, controlled, and secure access to personal protection tools in public spaces.

OBJECT : Aujourd'hui, nous lançons un appel aux autorités luxembourgeoises afin que chaque femme et chaque enfant victime de violences soit écouté, protégé et traité avec dignité. Trop de femmes victimes de violences conjugales, de violences sexuelles et de viol se sentent ignorées lorsqu'elles demandent de l'aide. Trop d'enfants victimes d'abus ne sont pas suffisamment entendus. Lorsqu'une victime trouve le courage de franchir la porte d'un commissariat, elle doit être accueillie avec respect, bienveillance et professionnalisme. Aucune victime ne devrait craindre d'être mise en doute, discriminée ou abandonnée. Chaque plainte doit être prise au sérieux, faire l'objet d'une enquête approfondie et bénéficier d'un accompagnement adapté.
