Purpose of the petition
In Luxemburg gibt es ungenutzten Wohnraum. Ein Grund dafür ist der hohe Mieterschutz. Eine Versicherung gegen Mietausfall und gegen Mietschaden würde eine Anzahl von Wohnungseigentümern dazu ermuntern ihre Wohnung zu vermieten. Diese Versicherung sollte von den etablierten Versicherungsgesellschaften oder vom Staat angeboten werden. Sie kann vom Mieter, vom Vermieter, vom Staat oder anteilig bezahlt werden. In Spanien gibt es eine solche Versicherung zum Beispiel.
