L'introduction d'un système de consigne sur les canettes, les bouteilles en verre perdu et en plastique au Luxembourg constituerait un incitatif économique pour encourager le consommateur à participer activement au recyclage. Ainsi, un tel système contribuerait à la protection environnementale, à l'embellissement du paysage général au Luxembourg et au bon fonctionnement de l'économie circulaire. Les coûts initiaux de mise en place d'un tel système seraient amortis par sa prévention des coûts.
