Sign a public petition

Introduction:

Public petitions declared admissible are open for signature for 42 days. Public petitions that collect at least 4500 valid signatures during this period give rise to a public debate in the Chamber of Deputies.

Signatories

To sign a petition, you must:

  • Be at least 15 years old.
  • Have a national identification number (‘matricule’) (CNS/social security number).

A person can only sign the same petition once.
