Welcome to a new version of the petition’s website with new features: • From now on, you will need electronic authentication (e.g. LuxTrust) to submit a petition online. • Some rules governing petitions are also changing: a new petition will need 5.500 signatures within 6 weeks for a public debate.
Sign a public petition
Introduction:
Public petitions declared admissible are open for signature for 42 days. Public petitions that collect at least 4500 valid signatures during this period give rise to a public debate in the Chamber of Deputies.
Signatories
To sign a petition, you must:
- Be at least 15 years old.
- Have a national identification number (‘matricule’) (CNS/social security number).
A person can only sign the same petition once.
