Ce qui pousse à agir, c'est la volonté de voir le Luxembourg mieux représenté à travers un symbole qui nous appartient véritablement. Aim of the petition: L'objectif de cette pétition est de proposer un changement du drapeau national pour adopter officiellement le Roude Léiw, symbole historique et identitaire fort du Luxembourg. Ce drapeau, arborant un lion rouge sur fond bleu et blanc, représente un lien profond avec notre patrimoine culturel. Il est déjà largement utilisé par la population lors de grandes occasions, mais il reste non officiel. En faisant de ce symbole notre drapeau national, nous affirmons notre singularité et renforçons l'identité visuelle de notre pays face aux autres nations.

Motivation of the general interest of the petition: Ce qui pousse à agir, c'est la volonté de voir le Luxembourg mieux représenté à travers un symbole qui nous appartient véritablement. Le drapeau actuel, bien que reconnu, manque d'unicité et crée des confusions avec d'autres pays, en particulier les Pays-Bas. Le Roude Léiw, en revanche, est un emblème chargé de sens pour les Luxembourgeois.

L'adoption de ce drapeau offrirait une meilleure reconnaissance de notre héritage tout en consolidant l'unité nationale autour d'un symbole fort et distinctif.
